About Dr Richard Sykes

Dr Richard Sykes has special interests in ENT, endocrinology, paediatrics and geriatrics, and takes a whole person approach to care in family general practice.

He trained in medicine at Oxford and Imperial College, qualifying in 2010. He initially undertook surgical training, later specialising in ENT, before working in hospital medicine and then general practice. He joined Dr Staight in 2020 and took over The Staight Practice in 2025.
